Drawn with light
A 60 × 60 low-power LED wall light that reveals an original 3D line illustration through precisely layered acrylic and transparency.
Object 02 is a 60 × 60 wall light built around a low-power LED panel. Coloured, clear, and light-diffusing acrylic sheets are layered to shape the warmth, depth, and evenness of the illumination.
A custom plotter-cut transparency mask sits within the stack. It blocks the panel everywhere except the linework of the original 3D illustration, allowing the drawing to appear only where light passes through it.
The complete assembly is fixed in an aluminium frame behind a clear glass front and mounted as a diamond on the wall. It runs directly from 240 V and is non-dimmable.
