Born in Nijmegen in 1998 as a collective of analogue electronic-music enthusiasts, Noxgenus Recordings became a pivotal force in the electro scene. It operated as a Creative Commons netlabel, providing its material freely and releasing fifteen collections of electronic music.
Friends Victor, Niels, and Robbie began as The Darkvoid Project after assembling an analogue hardware studio. Their music travelled through cassettes, CDs, and the obscure early internet before NoxGenus became a platform for artists including Li-Z, Minotaur Electronics, Dena, Dead TV Society, and Lenny. — Technobass.net
